So this brings a even more difficult angle to this whole thing living here in Austin the last thing we need is poor fatherless young men who are desperate to have things they usually don't work for. Crime rate goes up when we take the fathers of these children . That being said I can't say this guy was a upstanding gentleman . So now we have a person who brought 6 people into this world and won't raise a damn one of them . It's a shame the stupid people won't quit fucking each other ..
I like to think most smart people who want to have children do a tad bit of planning before it happens but of course you have the surprises and its truly up to the couple if they should or should not have the baby.
Give it 10 or so years and we'll have 6 kids running around central Texas with no father figure and a real father who murdered innocent people in a stolen car who called himself "killingallbeatz" .Not only does this make me take him less seriously but it puts a bad taste in my mouth in regards to all rap musicians.. Just looking at the facebook photos of this person makes me sick .

I don't claim to be the smartest by any stretch of the imagination but this pathetic excuse for a human makes me feel like I'm one of those martians from "MARS ATTACKS" with the huge brains..

Well that's because you're correct and that's exactly what's happening. Political correctness won't have any of it these days, however.

Just because their father is no longer involved in their lives doesn't mean these kids are going to grow up without a father figure, or for that matter go running around central Texas. It's going to come down to community support and the ability of their mother(s) to provide for them.
Also, you can't stop stupid people from fucking; they're stupid.

I guess I put these children in a category that is proven to be a formula for failure . Its a generational thing the father isn't there to provide , so the children do what they have todo to survive . If that means dealing drugs so be it . They have children then get caught and put in jail just like the fathers did. In my mind its a endless cycle.
just my tale of the take.

Well he wasn't going to raise them anyway. Had he even buckled down and tried (which he wouldn't have) he'd already dug himself a hole that was insurmountable. A 21 year old with 6 children from multiple mothers and no skills (no, 'killing beatz' is not marketable skill) and no assets cannot succeed in this society.
Take solace in the fact that Austin is a lot better off than Appalachia or inner cities when it comes to having to deal with this nonsense.

You're assuming he's raising them in the first place.

That kind of thinking by others usually contributes to the failure of kids in this situation. Instead of rooting for them we end up dreading what they will become.

My suggestion has been to put birth control in all the drinking water, and if you pass an intelligence test you can have the antidote.
It's the only way I can see preventing ' Idiocracy ' from becoming a documentary.

To help calm you a bit I think the kids are in Alaska.

If only that were ethical.
(It's ethical to me)

"Just because their father is no longer involved in their lives doesn't mean these kids are going to grow up without a father figure,"
THIS, and THIS AGAIN. My best friend have a son, the father of that son left her before said son was born. I've been a father figure for that boy the last five years, and so far he's turned out great.

At what point do you say this or that is stereotyping ? If they all act the same and they all dress the same , all talk the same , and all want to be "thug" thats a horrible image for the youth of this country . I'm 24, listen to rap my whole life and this is how I feel.

How long do you keep rooting for someone or something until you realize its not going to happen ?
I've been a cowboys fan for a very long time and I'm to the point to where Idc anymore. Are you going to focus on your life and the people in it or are we all supposed to drop what we are doing to go "cheer" for the kids who don't work hard to make it ?

No need to cheer for the kids that don't work hard, but there's no reason to boo the ones that haven't had a chance to start yet.

All rappers do not want to or care to be thugs. Do all thugs want to be rappers? Of course not, but I'll grant you maybe most.
Ask guys like Talib Kweli, Lupe Fiasco, Immortal Technique, Aesop Rock, Kendrick Lamar whether they consider themselves to fit that image you're describing. Rap is more than just tomthuggery.

I dont boo anyone who puts forth effort . But I have learned the reason I constantly strive for success is because of the work ethic and success my parents have . Not only do I want to prove myself to them but to myself and society in general .
If you have no one to look up to not even your mother then who are you proving self worth to but yourself and if you don't care because obviously your mother and father didn't care too much why would they care about themselves ???? .. cause I'm just going to throw it out there anybody dumb enough or desperate enough to have a child with "KILLALLBEATS" is most likely not a hard worker or even the least bit persistent .

I agree with you, but your forget that a parent's actions can influence a child negatively and positively. You're assuming "my parents don't care, therefore I will not care either" as opposed to "my parents don't care, therefore I must care more". Granted, with a father going to prison and moms that made the choice to have a child with a guy called "KILLALLBEATS" the outlook doesn't seem too bright, but there's always the chance that at ;least 1 out of 6 kids will be a contributing member of society.

Then why don't these artist you named stand up for the genre of music they decide to play ? and save face so to speak .
When a majority of the world thinks of rap, they think of poorly dressed saggy pants bad language and talking about killing people and getting fucked up (I understand not all but most) while talking about "Getting Money" or :"killingallbeats" ...

Nice 1 out of 6 doesn't end up in prison and cost the whole country more tax dollars.

I long for the days of state-run prisons. Probably because I've never been (nor intend on going). When inmates receive better healthcare and nutrition than a working family something's wrong.

I mean, they do. They are. Here I am talking about them, because they've done most of the talking for me already. I just have to point to their example.
Yes, some stereotypes definitely exist for a reason. But some exist because people are lazy and they make things easier.

As a grown man with children and no father figure of my own, I can state we don't all end up completely worthless citizens. Sometimes we are just better off without the bad dad's influence. Hopefully this is one of those situations. Although statistically speaking, you probably are a little more right than wrong.
